No, the event has many players comprising two teams. Players may play as many hours as they can and some come back and forth throughout the event as their schedule permits.

FAQ #4: Is there a minimum amount of money I have to raise to play?

No, there is no minimum. We ask all players to make a good faith effort to raise funds for our important charities. The average player raises $200. However, no player is ever excluded because they have not raised enough money! Every dollar counts and your participation is important to us.

FAQ #5: Can I bring my family/kids?

Yes, there is a safe and fun park to enjoy. There is no cost to enter the park. You may bring a tent, camper or RV into the park to spend the night. In fact, last year we had about 7 families camping in the park!

FAQ #6: Is there food and drink available?

Yes, the players and volunteers receive food and beverages (non-alcoholic of course!) throughout the event. Guests and fans should bring their own picnic baskets and coolers.

FAQ #7: Is there a silent raffle or auctions or giveaways during the event?

Yes, we have silent auctions, raffles and giveaways throughout the event. We can accept cash or credit cards for your purchases and donations. If you can contribute an item for the auctions, raffles or giveaways, please contact us through the contact page on our web site www/stepupct.org.

FAQ #8: How can I help?

Go to our web site and explore it thoroughly. There are tools there to assist you in fundraising. Also, please let us know the hours you can play so we are sure we have enough players for the entire event to keep the game going. Lastly, tell your friends and family about our event. Have them come down to cheer, make a donation or “like” us on Facebook.

FAQ #9: Who benefits from the event?

100% of the net proceeds from our event goes to three charities: Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Our event has no paid staff and is 100% volunteer. Your help and participation is needed and appreciated!
